The notes of the musical keyboard are arranged in octaves, each containing 12 notes; 7 white notes and 5 black notes. To locate a note, use a reference point; for example, the black notes are clustered in groups of two and three - the white note to the left of the cluster of two will ALWAYS be a "C".
